Ο Πολιτιστικός Σύλλογος Σάρτης «Η Αφησιά» ιδρύθηκε το 1984 από απογόνους των Αφησιανών προσφύγων. Η Σάρτη – Νέα Αφησιά είναι ένας από τους 27 οικισμούς της Χαλκιδικής, που δημιουργήθηκαν μετά την έλευση των προσφύγων το 1922.
